Our experienced and friendly team includes specialist paediatric endocrine physicians, an adult endocrinologist, a paediatric endocrine nurse practitioner, diabetes nurse practitioners and credentialled diabetes educators supported by our friendly reception staff. We also have close links with psychologists and allied health teams experienced in working with children with diabetes and chronic illness. As parents ourselves, we understand the challenges for children and families, and work together to make managing your child’s endocrine condition as smooth and stress-free as possible.  

Our QPE team works together to provide continuity of care, with consistent support and advice from diagnosis. With admitting rights to local private hospitals in central Brisbane and Toowoomba, we have a paediatric endocrinologist on call 24 hours for emergencies and urgent referrals.

We work with your GP and family to form part of your child's support team, as they face the challenges of growing up with an endocrine condition. For those who require it, we aim to make the process of transition to adult endocrine care as smooth as possible.
