About Endocrinology
The endocrine system is primarily concerned with hormones - messenger chemicals produced by endocrine glands such as the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary, which are released into the bloodstream to relay messages around the body.
Ensuring hormones are appropriately balanced is vital for ensuring optimal growth and development. A mis-match or production problem with hormone balance can be the cause of many health issues we see, including:
